The clear dedication to exploring all aspects of what makes a community resilient has guided the success of Future Forum, which has grown into an essential network in Santa Cruz and the Monterey Bay Area. Centering people's stories and movements, each Future Forum event elevates often unheard voices into real action plans to advance community-led ideas.

Future Forum participants provided valuable thought partnership to the City's Climate Action Program staff on outreach for and implementation of the citywide Climate Action Plan 2030 and development of Neighborhood Sustainability and Resiliency Workshops. Engagement with this action-oriented group has led to other fruitful avenues of collaboration as well.
